Two days of Winter Magic at LloydMall

Magic shows, musical entertainment and shopping offers are just some of the attractions that LloydMall is rolling out for two days of its Winter Magic February 24th and 25th to coincide with the winter break for schools and the Family Day holiday next Monday.

Marketing Coordinator Shannon McEwen is excited to make this option available for parents and their kids.

LloydMall is partnering with Midwest Family Connections and Claire’s Accessories to host Princess Tales which is storytelling for the younger kids. They are encouraging the kids to come dressed in their own costumes and the Claire’s princess will be there to greet them. There will also be crafts.

McEwen says there’s also yoga on the agenda for teens from 4-5 p.m. and then also for the adults from 6-7 p.m.

She dishes on the magic that the retailers will be offering LloydMall shoppers.

“We’re holding our Twilight Market from 4-8 p.m. on the 24th. So our retailers have exclusive shopping offers for our shoppers on the 24th. So really take advantage of that.”

McEwen says shoppers over the two Winter Magic days can be entered for two grand draws.

“We do have a family adventure gift pack. It’s a$100 gift card to Boston Pizza. So supper is on LloydMall. Two $100 LloydMall gift cards. So you can take the family shopping. Perfect time with the night market. And a family of four passes to BioClean Aquatic Centre, May Cinema Six and LloydLanes Bowling Alley.”

McEwen explains that the second grand prize will allow shoppers to indulge their style and fashion sense.

“It’s a private shopping experience with Candice Willets. We all know she’s a style maven. So we all know you’re going to get that one-on-one experience with Candice. She will help you pick out a brand new outfit and give you some makeup and styling tips for your hair. And we all know she is incredible.”

The night time entertainment at the mall includes music from Daryl Amundrud to be followed by Fame Dance Studios who will use their talent to fundraise for the Interval Home.

McEwen adds that residents need to book by appointment for all the activities. She noted that two of the magic shows on February 25th are already fully booked.

More information on bookings are on the mall website under the events tab.

His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
