Rotary debuts IPN 2022 reboot

The Border City Rotary Club is doing a reboot of Irish Pub Night for March 12th. IPN 2022 will be opening up at the Stockade Convention.

Karla Furman, fundraiser chair notes in the past their efforts have supported the Lloydminster Youth Centre, The Interval Home as well as the Lloydminster Sexual Assault Services.

As COVID restrictions are being lifted, they note this will be their first big event in two years.

Furman expresses their excitement for the IPN reboot.

“We as Rotarians felt it was time to bring the community together and have an evening full of fun. With the restrictions easing, why not throw a huge party. Teaming up with our title sponsor PWM Steel, Garrett Gregory and the Lloydminster Ex has us excited for the night. The staff at Lloyd Ex have proven time and time again they know how to put on an event and keep the attendees safe. And Maz Entertainment will be looking after the sound and
production for the night.”

They add doors open at 5:30 p.m. with supper at 6:00 p.m. and entertainment is from 8:00 p.m.

Ticket information is available online.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
