Update: Onion Lake RCMP say missing woman located safe

Update: Onion Lake RCMP say Shadane Cook has been located safe.

On February 22nd around 10:30 p.m., Onion Lake RCMP received a report of a missing 23-year-old woman, Shadane Cook.

Shadane is known to go by the names “Kodi,” “Turbo,” and “Shady.”

Police say she was last seen at a home on the Onion Lake First Nation on Monday morning, February 21st.

Investigators say Shadane is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and is 114 pounds with a slim build. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She may be wearing glasses. She has a tattoo of the word “Ty” or “Tyrell” on her hand. Shadane was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes and carrying a black purse.

Shadane’s family and police say they want to locate her to confirm her well-being.
