A 17-year-old Lloydminster teen has been charged with possession of a weapon after pointing a gun at children at the skate park. On Tuesday, the RCMP received several calls of a youth pointing a gun at others in the park. Upon arrival, they found a youth matching the description they had been given. The handgun was a carbon dioxide-powered BB gun, and was found at the youth’s home. The teen has been charged with breach of probation, possession of a dangerous weapon, and mischief. He will appear in provincial court September 16th.
