City facilities will be working on reduced hours over the Easter Weekend.
As usual, City Hall, The Operations Centre, Lloydminster RCMP Detachment, Bylaw Office and the Lloydminster Landfill will all be closed starting Friday, and be closed all Easter weekend. All of these facilities will re-open on normal hours on Tuesday, April 19th.
The RCMP Detachment will still be taking calls, and can be reached by calling 780-808-8400 for general concerns or 911 in an emergency. Bylaw can be reached at 780-874-3710, and people can report other concerns via the City’s Report a Concern tool.
Garbage collection will go on as normal on Friday, April 15th, and Monday, April 18th, as regularly scheduled. People can find their collection day on the city’s website as well.
When it comes to recreation, several facilities will be open on Good Friday. The Bioclean Aquatic Centre is open from 12-4:30 PM, with pre-booking available and encouraged. The Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre will be open all day, the Lloydminster Museum & Archives from 10 to 6 and the Servus Sports Centre will be open from 9 to 5.
Childminding is unavailable, and people can register for visits online.
