More benefits to multi-facility memberships coming this May

From May 1st, the City is enhancing its multi-facility membership program at three sport-leisure facilities.

The multi-facility membership will now include unlimited access to fitness and water aerobics classes in addition to general admission at the Servus Sports Centre, the Bioclean Aquatic Centre and the Outdoor Pool.

Joel Turcotte, Director of Recreation and Culture Services says,”By adding these classes to our memberships, patrons will be able to access additional recreation opportunities at a reduced rate.”

Under the new multi-facility membership, patrons will have access to nearly a dozen additional programs, say recreation planners with the City.

Fitness Classes

At the Servus Sports Centre there are virtual sessions and in-person fitness options for everyone. Classes range from Spin 45 to Heart and Hustle Boot Camp. They are about 45-60 minutes and are scheduled daily, Monday through Friday. Class descriptions, schedules and availability are on the City’s website.

Water Aerobics

Water aerobics is an effective and safe way to maintain and/or increase fitness levels. The Bioclean Aquatic Centre and the Outdoor Pool offer four classes: deepwater high intensity, high intervals (HIIT); seniors classes; parent and tot classes and a gentle water workout. All exercises are in the swimming pool and are available for adults or seniors of varying fitness levels. Class schedule and availability are also on the City’s website.

Membership Purchase

Multi-facility memberships are available to everyone, say recreation planners with the City and anyone who uses either facility a couple of times each month in addition to fitness or aerobics classes will benefit from the cost savings. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
