Residents get second weigh-in on Lloydminster Place

Lloydminsterites will get another chance to have their say on the proposed Lloydminster Place as the city holds a second survey period until May 31st.

City planners wants everyone to share their voice to help guide future decisions regarding the building and site development for the event centre.

The second community engagement campaign runs until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31st and officials say respondents can elaborate on issues raised in the first survey including architectural design cost, experiential and family-friendly features, also:

  • Food and beverage options
  • Inclusive/accessible restrooms
  • Outdoor, nearby amenities.

The city says the survey takes about 10 minutes and respondents do not have to share personal information.

The survey is available on the city’s website. Those without access to a computer can contact the City of Lloydminster at 780-875-6184, Ext. 2322, to request a printed copy of the survey.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
