Areas around 50th Avenue and 50th Street will be closed off to traffic for Saturday’s Downtown Streetfest.
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., barricades will be placed between 51 Street on the north and 48 Street on the south of 50th Avenue. Also being blocked off for the festivity are 50th and 49th Streets from the west side at 51st Ave to the east side at 49th Avenue.
The section of 49th Street bounded by 50th and 49th Avenues will be closed until 2:30 a.m. Sunday, according to city recreation planners.
