Rainfall warning for Lloydminster

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Lloydminster, Wainwright, Vermilion, Provost and areas.

Rain, at times heavy, will continue across portions of central Alberta tonight. Total amounts of 40 to 60 mm are likely before the rain tapers off Friday morning.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
