Road repairs on 75 Ave south to begin

City of Lloydminster crews will begin rehab work on 75th Avenue south of 44th Street on Wednesday July 13th.

Authorities say 75th Avenue will be closed from the alley that runs behind Best Buy (west of 75th Avenue) and Sobeys (east of 75th Avenue) to 29th Street.

The roadway will see complete asphalt resurfacing.

Access to businesses on 75th Avenue just south of 44th Street will remain open.

The intersection of 75th Avenue and 12th Street will have signs displaying ‘local traffic only’ for northbound travellers.

The city reminds motorists to allow extra time for travel, slow down when driving in construction zones, and obey all signage.

Construction is expected to be completed during the week of August 1st, weather permitting.

Traffic update information is available on the city’s website.

His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
