Fire crews from around the region will be in Lloydminster for live-fire propane training on Saturday and Sunday at the new fire station number one.
City officials say residents can expect to see several fire services vehicles in the area, as well as high-reaching flames, and possibly smoke during the live-fire training on Sunday. Also on Sunday, access to 37 Avenue north and 39 Avenue from 44 Street (Highway 16) will be closed.
The fire station is located at 3752 – 47 Street on the city’s east side.
Members from the Britannia Fire Department, Legacy Regional and County of Vermilion River fire services will be in Lloydminster for two days of training.
