Lloydminster RCMP hosts town hall at Legacy Centre

As plans shape up for next year, the Lloydminster RCMP is having a town hall meeting to get input and feedback from the community.

The session will also see a presentation of crime statistics within the city of Lloydminster, from S/Sgt. Brian Nicholl.

The RCMP will be on hand to hear from the community and as well share on issues like how priorities are determined.

The informal event will be an occasion for residents to bring forward any policing questions or concerns they may have that are important to community safety, say officials.

Representatives from community policing, school resource officers, traffic services, and Midwest Victim Services will also be present.

Officers indicate they look forward to seeing residents on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the Legacy Centre, located at 5101 46 Street.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
