City of Lloydminster staff, the Lloydminster Fire Department, RCMP, and provincial partners will partake in a half-day exercise at the airport on Thursday Oct. 6.
The training for the various crews will run from 9 a.m. to noon.
The community’s safety remains a top priority for all emergency responders, say officials and the training exercise may halt if a call for service is received at any time.
The city will put together a report to analyze the level of preparedness at the end of the training.
