Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Lloydminster, Wainwright, Vermilion and Provost.
Wind west 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming northwest 60 gusting to 90 late this afternoon. Strong northwest winds gusting to 100 km/h could also develop tonight.
About 5 mm of rain is in the forecast this evening.
Winds will taper off overnight tonight. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
Winds gusting to 60 km/h continue into Tuesday.
