Pierceland RCMP seek suspect that may be in Lloydminster

Pierceland RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a suspect whom they think could be in Lloydminster, Bonnyville, Cold Lake as well as Loon Lake, Meadow Lake or Onion Lake.

Investigators have determined that 23-year-old Kashtin Sandfly is not abiding by a court-ordered release condition to stay at a court-approved residence 24 hours/day.

On Oct. 8, he was charged with one count of failure to comply with a release order.

The release order concerns charges which are still before the courts, including discharging a firearm while being reckless, unauthorized possession of a firearm, resisting arrest, flight from police and possession of stolen property, according to the RCMP.

Sandfly is about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slender build. He has dark hair which is usually cut short and distinctive tattoos on his face and neck.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact the Pierceland RCMP at 306-839-3330 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
