UPDATE: RCMP say missing Onion Lake woman found

UPDATE: Shaylene Heathen has been located, according to RCMP

The RCMP is looking for a missing 26-year-old woman from the Onion Lake Cree Nation, who they report has been missing since the summer of 2022.

Shaylene Heathen has not been seen since July, the police report, and was last in touch with family after stating she was going for a walk to a local store in Onion Lake.

On October 5th, it was reported she may have been sighted in the Saskatoon area, and officers say it’s possible she may still be there.

Shaylene is described as being 5’7” and weighing approximately 130 lbs. She has short dark hair and may be wearing glasses. She has an elephant tattoo on her right forearm, a heart tattoo on her left collar bone, and “Heathen” written on her shoulder blade.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact their local RCMP detachment or CrimeStoppers.
