Remembrance Day service and city hours of operation changes

The city of Lloydminster will provide the following services and hours of operation from Remembrance Day, Friday, Nov. 11 and over the weekend:

  • A Remembrance Day Service will take place at Lloydminster Comprehensive High School (5615 42 Street) from 10:45 a.m., organized by the local legion. The ceremony will be livestreamed via  Royal Canadian Legion Branch #39 Facebook page.
  • City Hall and the Operations Centre will be closed Nov. 11, reopening with regular hours on Mon. Nov. 14.
  • For emergencies, Operations can be reached at 780-872-5418.
    Residents can use the online Report a Concern tool at Lloydminster.ca/reportaconcern to report road maintenance issues, among other items of concern.
  • The Lloydminster RCMP will be closed on the statutory holiday, reopening with regular hours on Monday, Nov. 14.
    The Detachment can be reached by calling 780-808-8400 for general concerns or 911 in an emergency.
  • The Bylaw Office is closed Friday, November 11, 2022, reopening with regular hours on Monday, November 14, 2022.
    Bylaw can be reached at 780-874-3710. In the event of an emergency, call 911.
  • The Lloydminster Sanitary Landfill is closed Friday, November 11, 2022, reopening with regular hours on Saturday, November 12, 2022. For more information, visit Lloydminster.ca/landfill.
  • Curbside collection will be completed on Friday, Nov. 11, as scheduled. For the collection calendar, visit Lloydminster.ca/curbside.
  • The Bioclean Aquatic Centre is open 12-5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, and regular hours resume on Saturday, Nov. 12. For availability and bookings, visit Lloydminster.ca/register. Registration opens 48 hours in advance for public and family swimming. Pre-booking spots are limited to leave room for drop-ins. Lane swim times are available 14 days in advance.
  • The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre is open. For up-to-date information, visit LGCC.ca.
  • The Lloydminster Museum + Archives will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Remembrance Day. Regular hours of operation resume Saturday, Nov. 12. Additional information is available at Lloydminster.ca/LMA.
  • The Servus Sports Centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11. Childminding is unavailable. Regular hours of operation resume Saturday, Nov. 12. Additional information is available at Lloydminster.ca/SSC.
