Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Lloydminster, Wainwright, Vermilion, Provost, Maidstone, Unity, St. Walburg, the Battlefords and surrounding areas.
Other areas affected include Meadow Lake, Big River, Green Lake, Pierceland as well as Bonnyville, St. Paul, Cold Lake and Lac La Biche.
Fog has formed this evening and is expected to persist until the morning.
Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
