Sask RCMP detachment phone lines not working

While 911 is still available for emergencies, the main phone lines at Saskatchewan RCMP detachments are down and there is no estimate as to when the phones will be fixed.

This affects police stations like Cut Knife, Maidstone, Battlefords, Onion Lake, St. Walburg, Turtleford, Glaslyn and Unity.

In a non-emergency, residents may call 310-RCMP.

Officials add when someone places a call to an RCMP office line, they may not hear a response, even if the phone is seemingly answered. The line may also disconnect.

The Lloydminster RCMP detachment is on the Alberta-side and the phone lines are not affected.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
