With 278 appearances for three NHL teams a Vermilion native is coming to the Lloydminster Bobcats in the new year.

Jeff Woywitka will join the coaching staff of the Lloydminster Bobcats as the Associate and Skills Coach following the Christmas break. He will work closely with head coach and GM Nigel Dube on team development.

“We are very excited to welcome Jeff’s wealth of playing and coaching experience and knowledge to our staff following the break,” says Dube.

Woywitka played for the St Louis Blues, Dallas Stars and New York Rangers in a pro-career spanning 2003 to 2015. Overall, he has some 600 pro games to his credit.
