Canadian Ski Patrol looking for volunteers

The Canadian Ski Patrol is hosting a couple events at area ski hills in early March as they seek volunteers for ski patrolling at Saskatchewan and Manitoba major ski areas.

Snowboarders, alpine and cross country skiers are being invited to consider joining the 4500 volunteers who promote safety, provide first aid, as well as rescue services to skiers and snowboarders.

CSP volunteers must be at least 18-years and be able to ski or snowboard at intermediate or higher skill level. Further training will be provided.

The ski patrol will be holding event days in this region at Mount Joy and Table Mountain on Mar. 4.

More details on Ski with the Patrol Day and registration can be found on the CSP website.
