The Family Day holiday on Monday will once again see Winter festivities breaking out in Lloydminster.
City planners have put together a range of indoor and outdoor family events for Feb. 20 from 10 am to 3 pm at locations around Lloydminster.
Indoor and outdoor family fun will be served up at the Bioclean Aquatic Centre, Servus Sports Centre, Bud Miller All Seasons Park, Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre and Lloydminster Museum and Archives, say recreation planners with the city.
Environment Canada is forecasting some weekend snow which will provide a winter atmosphere by Monday morning. The daytime high on Monday is minus 12 and the windchill will rise from minus 25 early in the morning to minus 21 by mid-afternoon.
Mayor Gerald Aalbers is inviting everyone to take part, dress for the weather and come spend some time reconnecting with people.
