Sunstroke and heat stroke are just two things that could happen to a child when left in a hot vehicle. In Lloydminster this year the numbers of calls to the RCMP of children being left in hot vehicles was down in June and July, but up in August. RCMP Corporal Grant Kirzinger says parents should just take their kids into the store with them instead of taking unnecessary risks. Kirzinger also says when you leave your child unattended, you don’t know what they are doing or who may be around them.
