Kitscoty teen faces sexual assault charges

An 18-year-old Kitscoty man is facing sexual assault charges after Kitscoty RCMP received a complaint of sexual assault against a minor. According to RCMP, the incident happened sometime in the weeks leading up to Feb. 27.

Gage Wolfe of Kitscoty is facing several charges including sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, and sexual interference.

Kitscoty RCMP Detachment Commander Sergeant Corey Buckingham says RCMP conducted a thorough investigation into the complaint, as the charges Wolfe faces are serious in nature.

“We want to help any other potential victims, and strongly encourage them to come forward so we can properly investigate, but also guide them to any resources they may require,” Buckingham says.
