Lloydminster RCMP arrest trio in suspected stolen vehicle

Two Edmontonians and a Saskatoon resident are facing charges after Lloydminster police stopped the vehicle in which they were driving after the plates came back as reportedly stolen.

On March 9, North Battleford RCMP informed their Lloydminster counterparts to be on the lookout for a vehicle which they confirmed as having a stolen plate and driving at high speed towards Lloydminster.

Their investigation determined that the vehicle was reported as stolen out of Edmonton. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a sawed off 12-gauge shotgun, shotgun ammunition, 2.66 ounces of suspected methamphetamine and a small amount of suspected fentanyl.
