Effective April 27, the RM of Frenchman Butte No. 501 has issued a Level One Fire Ban.
This means:
- All open burning is banned
- Exemptions will depend on whether there is supervision and a fire extinguishing plan. This will include recreational campfires and barbeques.
Until further notice the RM says previously issued permits are suspended. Anyone transgressing will be fined.
