Six people have registered with Elections Alberta to run in the Vermilion-Lloydminster-Wainwright for the May 29 provincial vote.
With the deadline for filing papers closing on May 11, the six people are listed in alphabetical order:
- Tigra-Lee Campbell – Green Party
- Darrell Dunn – Alberta Party
- Dawn Flaata – NDP
- Danny Hozack – Wildrose Loyalty Coalition
- Matthew Powell – Independent
- Garth Rowswell – UCP

Residents will also have an opportunity to hear the candidates on May 24 when the Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce hosts its forum from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Bexson Construction Prairie Room at the Lloyd Ex.
