Officers are laying charges after a traffic stop near 39 Street in Lloydminster resulted in the seizure of illicit drug items.
On May 4, Lloydminster RCMP General Investigative Section (GIS) pulled over a couple and during their investigation they confiscated:
- 2 ounces of suspected methamphetamine
- 5 grams of suspected cocaine
- 4 grams of suspected Fentanyl
- Plastic dime bags, a digital scale and various drug paraphernalia items
Investigators subsequently charged Krista Megan Spiller, 29-years of Cut Knife with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
- Possession of fentanyl
Also facing similar charges is Michael Thomas Meesto, 38-years of Lloydminster for:

Both suspects were released from custody and are to return to Lloydminster Saskatchewan provincial court on August 14.
