Lloydminster students bring home top national skills honours

Lloydminster students have brought home national honours at the finals of this year’s Skills Canada in Winnipeg.

From Lakeland College, Tyler Bendfeld scored gold in carpentry.

At Holy Rosary, Brynt Belizar is the nation’s best in photography, and Jerico Manaloto along with Lucas Feely are the best videographers in Canada – also bringing home gold medals.

Lloydminster Comprehensive students Alexis Grillandini and Ash Godin after bringing home gold at the Alberta provincial stage were able to get second place at nationals.

Grillandini got silver in Architectural Technology, and Godin placed 4th in IT Office Software Level 2.

For Team Alberta, Brynt Belizar also copped the team spirit award.
