Local non-profits get lottery grant dollars

A couple local non-profits are to get grant dollars as Lloydminster City Council has approved the funding via the Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant Allocations.

The grants are being distributed as follows:

  • $4,814 to Catholic Social Services for Summergration
  • $4,000 to Catholic Social Services for Black History Month 2024
  • $2,000 to the Heart of Treaty 6 – for Reconciliation Reads Book Club

In total, $10,814 is being disbursed by the Community Services Advisory Committee which council authorized to reallocate any unused or returned grant funds.

Lloydminster RCMP are asking for your help to find 45-year-old Jennifer Dillon. Jennifer was reported missing on June 28, 2025. Her family have not heard from her in the last couple months and are concerned for her well-being.
