For many, it’s the top pick for the fourth Saturday of August, as the annual Blueberry Festival is set for this weekend in St. Walburg. This year event planners will kick off early with a beef supper and live band on Friday Aug. 25. at the Parish Hall.
Wourms Family Jam and Country Folks will lead the tunes on Friday with two servings of the beef supper at 5 and 6 p.m. The parish parking lot will be open for campers coming to the dance which follows from 8 p.m.
Apart from Blueberry cuisine, the farmer’s market and family-fun activities will take over Main Street on Saturday Aug. 26 along with live music on centre stage all day. There will also be a Car Show & Shine.
