Junior A Hockey Action is back…
The Lloydminster Bobcats have their first preseason game tonight as the Bonnyville Pontiacs make their way to the Centennial Civic Centre Arena.
This will be the first season behind the Bobcats bench for new head coach, Brad Rihella who made his way to the Border City over the summer.
The ‘Cats then head to Bonnyville tomorrow for a return match before playing at home on Labour Day, welcoming the Sherwood Park Crusaders to town.
After that, it’s off to Fort McMurray, where the team has back-to-back games against the Oil Barons on Friday and Saturday before kicking off the regular season.
The Bobcats Home Opener is Friday, September 15 at 7:00pm, as they start the year against the Calgary Canucks.
