Holy Rosary hosting provincial golfers

Alberta’s young golfers will be coming to Lloydminster as Holy Rosary High School hosts the Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association or ASAS Provincial Championship from Sep. 25-26.

Both Rolling Greens and the Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre will tee off with the action involving over 200 golfers.

As host, the Holy Rosary senior girls team comprises Haley Roach, Milena Kokonas & Kasey Haughian and placed 3rd, 4th, and 5th out of 9 female golfers competing, and posted a second-place team score to win silver at the zone level in Fort McMurray.

The senior boys team finished 4th at the zone level, and includes Keenan Chappell, Brady Hill, Breckyn Smith, Carter Hummelle, and alternate: Steinar Hundeby.
