Two people, one of them being a firefighter, were taken to hospital following a fire in a Lloydminster residential area on Tuesday evening, which destroyed a home.
On Oct. 17 just after 8 p.m., Lloydminster Fire crews were called out to the 3300 block of 46 Avenue.
While one house was lost, a neighbouring home also suffered related damages.
A firefighter and one occupant were taken to hospital for treatment. Fire officials add that 22 crews and eight vehicles were dispatched to the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
