Gamers host 24-hour tournament to raise funds for children’s hospitals

A local gaming group is aiming to raise just under $9,000 for children’s hospitals this weekend. They already have just under $2,000 raised from online donations.

Babs Gaming will host the Extra-life group Foxtrot Tango Kilo (FTK) as they put their keyboard skills on the line for children’s hospitals like the Stollery in Edmonton and Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon.

The 24-hour gaming event runs Nov. 4-5 at Babs Gaming in Lloydminster. Anyone can come to the store from 8am-9pm to join in and play for free. Donations will go to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Canada.

Locally you can go to the extra-life.org website, pick one of the team members and support their personal goals with your contribution to the cause.
