Lloydminster City Council has set a by-election for Feb. 13, 2024, to fill the vacancy created on council following the resignation of Aaron Buckingham who is now the city’s fire chief.
Council appointed Doug Rodwell as the returning officer, with Marilyn Lavoie and Shannon Rowan as substitutes.
Also, Council tasked the returning officer to determine the days and hours for the conduct of the advance poll.
