A man is in hospital in critical condition following an accident this morning.
On May 12th, at approximately 5:25 a.m., Lac La Biche RCMP, with Emergency Services, attended a serious single vehicle collision on Highway 55 at Range Road 155.
A CBC vehicle was traveling eastbound on Highway 55 when it went off the road and into the ditch. The lone male driver of that vehicle was transported to an Edmonton hospital via STARS Air Ambulance, where he remains in critical condition.
All possible contributing factors related to this collision are being considered asthe collision remains under investigation by the RCMP.
The highway is again open to traffic.
