Police seize drugs, snowmobile after raid at Lloydminster home

Lloydminster Police have seized illicit drugs and a snowmobile, and laid charges against three suspects following a tip off about a Lloydminster home.

On Nov. 7, 2023, Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) with the assistance of Lloydminster RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) and Lloydminster Police Dog services (PDS) executed a search warrant for drug trafficking in response to community complaints of drug activity.

Police seized suspected Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Fentanyl and a 2018 Arctic Cat Snowmobile that was reported stolen.

Cody Mackenzie, 40-years and 34-year-old Sara Mackenzie, of Lloydminster, have been charged with:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Failure to comply with conditions

A third Lloydminster resident, 33-year-old Brandon O’Kane has been charged with:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of stolen property over $5000

Both Cody and Sara MacKenzie were taken before a Justice of the Peace for a bail hearing and were remanded in custody.

Brandon O’Kane was released on a Release Order. All are scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Saskatchewan Provincial Court on Nov. 9.
