Known locally as the Transfer Station, SaskEnergy says it will be flaring natural gas at the TransGas Town Border Station, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 13.
The station is in Mervin and is about two kilometres west of Turtleford.
Residents and drivers in the area may see a 40-foot flame being emitted from the flare stack.
The flaring is necessary to perform maintenance work on the natural gas line system and the RM of Mervin and the local fire department have been notified, says SaskEnergy.
