For 2024, Strathcona Resources has a $450 million budget for Lloydminster.
The Calgary-based company says it wants to spend $300 million on Lloydminster heavy oil, $200 million on Cold Lake thermal energy, and $300 million on Montney liquids-rich gas.
About $150 million will go to Lloydminster heavy oil to support steam generation at Meota, Saskatchewan, and increase the polymer flood pilot at Bellis, just east of Smoky Lake.
