A female passenger has been taken to hospital in Edmonton, while two drivers also involved in a vehicular collision in Provost were taken to hospital in Wainwright, say police.
Provost RCMP say on Dec. 4, at 2:58 p.m. they were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 13 and Range Road 40.
Investigators say a truck was travelling south on Range Road 40 and an SUV was travelling northwest on Highway 13.
The driver of the truck, a 19-year-old male resident of Provost, and the driver of the SUV, a 73-year-old male resident of Czar were transported to Wainwright Hospital via ambulance. The 61-year-old female Czar resident, who was a passenger in the SUV was taken to an Edmonton area hospital in serious condition.
RCMP are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
