Lloydminster City Council has proclaimed some major community events for next year including the Lloyd Ex fair and the Saskatchewan Summer Games.
At Monday’s regular council meeting the events were given the municipal stamp including:
- Lloyd Ex Fair Week from July 10 – 13
- Saskatchewan Summer Games Week from July 21 – 27
- New Lloydminster Nissan CPCA Finals Week from Aug. 14 – 18
- Veterans’ Week from Nov. 5 – 11
In 2018, council approved a recognition policy by which the city reviews requests for an event to be proclaimed. An application can be submitted via the city’s website.
