As of April 15, 2024, WestJet Link which connects Lloydminster to Calgary International Airport will stop flying to the Border City.
In a statement, the airline says, “This is disappointing news for the community and (it) apologizes for the impact this may have. Despite efforts made to support the route’s viability, service between Lloydminster and Calgary was not performing to expectations.”
The airline adds that affected passengers will be informed ahead of time to allow them to seek alternatives or a refund.
