LSAS debuts virtual space youth project in February

Starting in February, the Lloydminster Sexual Assault Services, LSAS will begin its Youth at Risk in Virtual Spaces Project to gather information on youth as they navigate online.

LSAS is sharing some details on the project before rolling it out next month including:

  • Gather information on, the needs, knowledge, and struggles of youth as they
    navigate virtual spaces online
  • Prepare a Community Recommendations Report to help families navigate virtual spaces
  • Engagement will see the use of Pop-Up Stands around the city for residents to share their thoughts
  • The assessment will also be available online

Residents can get involved by contacting LSAS, and looking out for updates via social media.

The project is funded by the Government of Canada through the Community Services Recovery Fund and the United Way Centraide.
