The Walk for Remembrance will be held in Lloydminster on Saturday. Starting at 2:45 PM in Bud Miller Park, the walk is held to raise awareness about suicide prevention. The walk is put on by the Walking Through Grief Society in Lloydminster. The event starts with an opening address from dignitaries, followed by a walk around the lake. After the walk, the participants will return to the picnic site, where they will be able to share memories of deceased loved-ones. This year’s walk is expected to draw 100 people.
