Saskatchewan doctors will have to vote on a tentative deal reached between their representatives and the province.
The Saskatchewan Medical Association, SMA has reached a tentative four-year contract agreement for the period April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2026, with the government.
SMA President Dr. Annette Epp said the tentative agreement will have to face a vote.
“The SMA Board of Directors is recommending that members accept the tentative agreement which addresses priorities raised by physicians during the negotiations.”
The ratification vote closes on Feb. 2 and details of the contract will be released at the end of the process, says the province.
