Collision at Hwy 16 – Hwy 21 junction near Maidstone

Maidstone RCMP as of 11 a.m. MST are on the scene of a multi-semi collision on Highway 16’s eastbound lanes at the junction with Highway 21.

No serious injuries have been reported to police but it’s expected the highway will be closed for several hours as clean-up of the roadway continues.

Detours are in place but motorists should expect delays in the area. Please follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.
