UPDATE: Onion Lake RCMP say that Jada Peigan has been located deceased

UPDATE: Onion Lake RCMP say that Jada Peigan has been located deceased. Her family has been notified and Victim Services has been engaged to provide support.

The Saskatchewan Coroners Services has yet to complete the autopsy, but at this time, investigators believe the death to be non-suspicious.

Onion Lake RCMP are asking for your help to find Jada Peigan.

The 18-year-old woman was reported missing on Feb. 6, say police.

Jada Peigan was last seen on Onion Lake Cree Nation on Feb. 4. Since receiving the report, Onion Lake RCMP have been checking places that Jada is known to visit and following up on information received. They are now asking members of the public to report all information on Jada’s whereabouts.

Jada is described as:

  • Five feet four inches tall
  • Weighs 132 pounds
  • Short brown hair and brown eyes.
  • Piercing on her bottom lip
  • Last seen wearing a grey zippered sweater, light brown pants, and white Nike shoes with a black swoop.

Jada also sometimes goes by the name “Jay”.

If you see Jada Peigan or know where she is, contact Onion Lake RCMP at 306-344-5550. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- TIPS (8477).
