Twenty-three female hockey teams from Alberta and Saskatchewan will be in Lloydminster this weekend for the 4th Meridian Female Tournament.
The age groups include U11, U13B, U13A, U15, and U18 comprising over 400 female athletes for a total of 96 games. The competition starts Friday at 1 p.m., and all day Saturday and Championship games will be played on Sunday at Servus Sports Center, Russ Robertson Arena, and Archie Miller.
The full schedule of games for this fourth annual tournament is online. Multiple Lloydminster teams will play opening games in the one o’clock hour on Friday afternoon.
