Lloydminster school divisions are putting plans in place to handle noon-hour job action planned by teachers on Friday, Feb. 16 following renewed job action and a collapse in contract negotiations.
Both the Lloydminster Catholic and Public School Divisions are saying that school supervision will take place over the noon hour and classes will be as usual.
Saskatchewan teachers are back on the picket line as talks with the government team have faltered once again. Both sides are sticking to their guns with the teachers union seeing class size and complexity issues as being more important than salary and benefit matters.
The government maintains that class size and complexity are best dealt with at the school board level.
